This artwork is entitled, "Suprematist Painting" and was created by artist Kazimir Malevich. It is an oil on canvas made in 1916-17. This is an example of form and content. The form is the image(s) we see and the content is the meaning. The artist believed in reduction and founded
what he called Suprematism.
He uses geometric shapes and a low range of colors. The content is one of objects producing power with no reference to reality. The main theme is the internal movements of the personality.
